Experiencing pelvic pain can be isolating and oftentimes women feel very alone in their experience. I assure you, you are NOT alone! There are a lot of us navigating these struggles, including myself for over 20 years. Many of the conditions related to pelvic health are written off by practitioners who just don’t understand how to connect the right dots let alone empower us with knowledge on how to address & understand it. The conditions listed below are all related to pelvic dysfunction, all of which we work on in the Pelvic Health Yogi classes!

COMMON SYMPTOMS RELATED TO PELVIC DYSFUNCTION:

Urinary incontinence (have to go all the time or very urgently)

Pelvic pain (low back, SI, groin)

Prolapse

Chronic constipation

Bladder holding – not being able to completely empty

External pain, tingling/pins and needles

Burning in the vulva

Meet your instructor, Chalee Nyenhuis, affectionately known as The Pelvic Health Yogi. With a passion for empowering women on their PELVIC HEALTH wellness journeys, Chalee brings nearly 15 years of experience in yoga, bodywork and pelvic health to the mat. Her sassy, compassionate & educational approach, coupled with a deep understanding of the body-mind connection, creates a nurturing environment where students can explore, heal, and thrive. Her goal for her students is to educate, empower and create a personal understanding of your own body so that you can approach your practice with intention & effectiveness.

Dive deep into how to engage, foster awareness, breathe into and strengthen your deep core muscles in this 4 week progressive program!
Take a breather and flow with ease in our half-hour "Slow Flow" sessions. These classes strike the perfect balance between movement and tranquility, focusing on themes like "Slow Flow for Low Back Pain" to soothe your body and mind.
Tight schedule? No problem! Dive into our quick yet powerful "Pelvic Yogi Mini" sessions. In just 15 minutes, you'll experience targeted guidance on maximizing your time effectively, whether it's learning new concepts, deepening your practice, or simply finding moments of relaxation and strength-building.
Are your glutes firing the way they are supposed to? Do you know how to check? This 4 week series will help you determine if your glutes are engaging correctly, what to do if they are not and how to create balance between sides. We also give some much needed awareness and strength to the internal and external rotators of the hip so we can create hip stability and reduce pain. Of course we will tie it all into pelvic floor health making this a well-rounded use of your time on the mat. Because no one wants a dumb-ass!
These 30 minute yoga sessions will easily fit into a busy schedule offering a perfect amount of mat time for better pelvic health. Each class focuses on different themes. For example: “Restorative Practice,” “Lower Body Love,” “Calming Stability Flow,” and “Pelvic Health Tune-Up!”
